herbology is normally taught here. there are around three or four green houses here. which have various plants that the students will learn how to care for.

Forbidden Forest
the forbidden forest is named so for a reason. it is forbidden. any students caught in it without a teacher will be punished. there are many dangerous creatures the live in here.

The Whomping Willow
a very violent tree planted alone in the middle of the grounds. the tree will attack anyone who comes within reach of it's branches. the purpose of the whomping willow is so that a student werewolf could go there to transform away from the other students.

Hagrids Hut
this is where the keeper of keys and grounds lives. he's a half-giant named hagrid. he's not as fierce as he looks. he also has a bourhound named fang who like hagrid isnt nearly as mean as he looks.

The Lake
the lake is often a nice place to relax by after classes or exams. some students go swimming but most prefer to sit along the bank. the lake has many creatures is the depth of its waters, so be careful.

Quidditch Pitch
quidditch is huge at hogwarts. the entire student body come here to watch their houses compete for the quidditch cup which is awarded at the end of each school term.
